Would you like to elope and get married, just the two of you, in the most beautiful countryside with the most stunning honeymoon venue?  Elopement is the perfect choice for couples with a love for Scotland and the outdoors, for those that are looking for intimacy on the day.  It is perfect for those that find the idea of a big traditional wedding more stressful than exciting. 

Craigmaddie Muir is a stunning hilltop location with views to die for,  It really does have a magical atmosphere.  From rugged moorland to rolling fields, you can choose from numerous outdoor spots on our 400 acre farm to declare your love for one another and marry.  We provide the scenery, your two legally required witnesses and your honeymoon accommodation.  You arrange your chosen humanist/celebrant etc. (we have a list of these available).

Following your wedding ceremony you will stay in The Roundhouse.  The Roundhouse is exquisitely romantic and luxurious, it sits in a private woodland looking on to the valley and beyond.  A 180 degree floor to ceiling window allows you to take in the views.  Enjoy a hot tub under the stars.

Come and visit us and we can show you potential wedding spots for you to choose from.  You can then contact the person you have chosen to marry you, and discuss the magical date.  Please check with us to ensure we are available to act as witnesses on the required date  before you book them.

Should you wish to place a 'click and collect' food order from a supermarket in the neighbouring Milngavie, we can pick this up for you and have everything put away and ready for you the day before your Honeymoon commences.  If you would rather eat out we can suggest numerous special restaurants in Glasgow, which can be reached by taxi.  There are also takeaways that deliver.

Your Wedding Elopement package is available to book for 4 night plus stays and your stay will commence at 9am on your check in day.  That way The Roundhouse is yours to use should you wish to use it to get ready in.  There are local hairdressers, makeup artists and florists should you need them.  If 4 nights is too short for you simply select a longer stay at checkout.

Following your wedding ceremony your honeymoon can commence without so much as a car journey.  Arrive to a bottle of Moet Champagne on ice.  Why not enjoy it with some sumptuous fresh strawberries and a generous sharing box of gift wrapped Lindt chocolates?  The Roundhouse will be decorated for your arrival; a stunning handmade floral wreath will overhang your King size bed.  There will be a generous scattering of rose petals on your bed.  A beautiful hand tied bouquet of roses will await you (we will provide a vase for you to use for the duration of your stay and a flower bag for you to take your roses home in).  Enjoy the most moving sound of Scotland's iconic bagpipes immersing the Scottish countryside, as our inhouse piper Fergus, plays an evening recital of some Scottish tunes in the grounds of The Roundhouse.

The price of your Wedding Elopement package is £1200 (plus the cost of your stay).  Just simply select 'Elopement' as an extra at check out, having firstly selected your dates.
